Ok so im switching books books because I fell asleep while reading last night. Which is terrible! I have never done that before and I almost squished my poor kindle (sorry kindle!). I was really disappointed I thought this book was going to be so much more interesting! But i just couldn't get into it to save my life. So I am going to change to the Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. From what I have read and what I have looked up this book is about a young women growing into herself , wanting more for herself , and starting to understand the world around her. I think that this would be a great book for all women to read because, it shows the strength and the courage women should have. I am excited to read this book, if you have read this book what would you rate this book on a scale of 1-10?

ReplyDeleteWell I am a book fanatic so I would say it gets an 11. This book is fabulous it gets a little dry at points and it helps if you know French. You'll figure out why later. Stick through the dry parts it gets really good later.
ReplyDeleteWell, to be honest, I read Wurthing Heights by Emily Bronte and I really didnt like it! It was horrible... but I've heard that this book is much much better and you will enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteI hope this book is better for you. I have done the same thing I was reading Grapes of Wrath. I fell asleep on top of my nook it is not comfortable so I understand your situation. Good Luck I have not read this before.
ReplyDeleteI've never read the book myself, so I can't rate it but for your sake I hope its good. Is it kind of one of those coming of age stories? Well, I hope this book doesn't put you to sleep!
